BETH\’S CAFE SHIFT MANAGER & PT HOSTESS

The World Famous Beth’s Cafe is seeking two individuals to fill openings for graveyard shift manager and graveyard hostess:

GRAVEYARD SHIFT MANAGER: Four nights per week, Fri-Mon 10pm-6am, including one 12 hour shift per week, 35-38 total hours per week. Shift manager will be responsible for running the floor ensuring smooth flow of business. This will include assisting other employees in clearing and setting tables, seating customers, cashiering, covering employee breaks, handling problem customers, and take care of any unforeseen that may come up. You will supervise 8 employees Fri-Sat night with the help of another manger, and 3 employees Sun-Mon nights. Some supervisory experience required, and must have at least some aptitude at cooking.

Compensation is $11.25/hr plus some tips, free meals anytime, health insurance, and paid vacation.

GRAVEYARD SHIFT HOSTESS: Two nights per week, Fri-Sat, 10pm-3am (occasionally longer depending on business volume). The hostess is responsible for greeting and seating customers, pouring coffee, cashiering, help clear and set tables, and manage the wait list. This is an entry level position from which all Beth’s waitresses are typically hired.

Compensation is $8.03 per hour plus tips from the waitresses, and one free meal per shift.

Beth’s is the home of the 12-egg omelet and was named Best Greasy Spoon by Seattle Weekly and Evening Magazine, Best of Seattle by The Stranger, and was featured on both the Travel Channel and The Food Network. It’s a busy, fun, crazy place to work!
